Does Mattox publish a standard pool price?
This guide does not provide a standard price or quote. Request a consultation for pricing based on your property, design, and construction scope.
A custom pool price depends on the design and the property. To compare proposals fairly, compare the complete pool, site work, equipment, decking, and exclusions. A generic starting price cannot establish what your backyard project will cost.
Ask each builder to price the same pool dimensions, spa configuration, finishes, equipment, and surrounding improvements. A proposal with a smaller deck or fewer included site items is not directly comparable to a more complete scope.
An allowance is an amount assigned to an item before its final cost is established. Ask what triggers a change, how it will be documented, and when you will approve it. Identify work priced separately, such as landscaping or utility changes, so you can plan the full backyard budget.
Bring a survey, inspiration photos, a list of priorities, and a budget range. Separate essentials from optional additions. Ask for a written proposal after the design and site assumptions are clear, and review financing terms with the lender if financing is part of the plan.

Photos do not show the complete scope. Access, excavation, equipment, finishes, decking, and site restoration can differ even when the pool shapes look similar.
